My Chakra Art focused on The Solar Plexus Chakra. Associated with the color yellow, power and action. I was inspired by some words shared by Pixie Campbell today and decided to incorporate that into this piece.

Spring Soulodge!

This season of Lodge transitions softly from Winter's period of restoration and calls upon us to carry the aspects of self-care forward, as the Earth warms up and beckons us forth into the "doing" and "planting" seasons.

Inspired by Winter Soulodge! Happy PPF!!

I've had such a wonderful experience participating in the winter session of Soulodge! I can't even begin to tell you! I've also begun tinkering with a digital drawing app called Artrage  http://www.artrage.com/ and here is one of my creations!! Well, here is a drawing that was inspired by Pixie Campbell!

Sharing my Releasing Ceremony!

So, I know this is a bit late, but I still want to share some photos of my experience during this year’s Winter Solstice. It was a wonderful process and felt very uplifting! As you will be able to tell by the photos, I was very fascinated by the tiny lights that flew out of the fire and went off into the night sky!!

Winter Solstice 2011 and Releasing Ceremony with Pixie Campbell!

Join me with women from all around the world as we celebrate The Winter Solstice on December 22, 2011!! What a wonderful time to release all the negativity that holds us down. The idea of beginning these circles of women was started by a wonderful lady by the name of Pixie Campbell. If anything else, do visit her blog!

"Ritualizing release is a way to "bind the medicine" of moving beyond the past, the pain, the obstacles, the resistance, the old traps, the excuses. I'm so grateful to lead us into the new year and into the flames to be rebirthed for 2012."

"Who: YOU, and if you wish, your circle, tribe, family, or village.

What: A fire ceremony, to release the old year and shift up into the new.

Where: In your backyard firepit, on a bonfire beach, around your fireplace, (even in your kitchen sink if you can make it scout-safe with a fireproof container).

When: Winter Solstice, December 22nd, 2011.

Why: We release what no longer serves us on the Winter Solstice, because it is the darkest day of the year. We let go so that we can step freely into what is waiting for us, as the light begins to grow brighter with each day. We're doing it as an extended community to raise the energy level of letting go, together!

How: Make a releasing bundle. Gather friends and family around a hearth (or do this in sacred solitary), set the bundle safely aflame, and let the alchemical element of fire transform the old, as it knows how to do so well. Feast on Solstice treats and celebrate the return of the light. Tune in here after December 16th to see the video created around my tribe's ceremony.

2012 is a powerful year to let the old ways go and step fully into creative self-expression and abundant support for our dreams from All That Is. It is a time for visionaries to create reality.
